Welcome! My name is Mr. Schneider and I am happy to be your child’s 8th
grade math teacher for the 2015-2016 school year.
I am a graduate from Ottawa University in Phoenix, Arizona where I received
my degree in elementary education with a minor in History and along with a
Math endorsement and SEI endorsement. I have been teaching for 10 years now
with a well rounded background. I have had the privilege to be a 5th grade teacher,
6th grade teacher, 7th grade teacher, taught all subject areas, and spent a school year
as an accelerated Math teacher. I just absolutely love to teach and my desire
is to inspire those around me. I am one who encourages participation along
with opinions. I enjoy getting to know my students and seeing what each of
them can contribute to the classroom as a whole.
I consider each student in our classroom to be a unique individual and want
him or her to see me as another caring, compassionate adult in his or her
lives. In addition, I hope to help every child reach his or her full
potential, guiding each student to draw from his or her own special talents.
I want to have all of my students leave my classroom as stronger human beings-
emotionally, socially, and intellectually. As a parent or guardian, you know
your child better than anyone. Therefore, please let me know of ways that
might help me better to meet my goals for your child
I shall strive to be a positive role model and a wonderful inspiration to all
students in helping them to reach their goals. I will educate, respect, and
encourage participation of all students in the classroom setting. I will
provide excitement and enthusiasm for learning while listening and valuing
every child’s opinion.
